Job summary

The role involves designing compliance programs, handling sample transactions, and supporting audits. Qualifications include a bachelor's in supply chain or related field, at least three years in customs compliance, SAP

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of three years of customs compliance and import/export operations experience.
Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred.
Experience with HTS classification and applying GRI guidance.
Prior engine components classification experience preferred.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work with diverse teams.
Demonstrated problem solving and global mindset.
Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Assign tariff classification using HTS and GRI and customs rulings.
Design and assist in implementing compliance programs and documenting reasonable care.
Process sample transactions, assist with improvements and audits.
Prepare and send certificate of origin packages; review certificates for accuracy and validity.
Conduct post-entry audits to ensure import transactions meet requirements.
Identify non-compliance areas and implement practical improvements.
Assist with CT PAT certification applications and best practices.
