Job summary

FasTrack Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Trailer Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of large trailers. You will work on diesel trucks, air brake systems, and electrical components, applying welding and fabrication skills as needed to keep equipment roadworthy.

This full-time on-site role requires attention to safety, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with other technicians. Friday–Monday shift, 40 hours per week, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanic role, specifically with large trucks and trailers.
• Welding experience is mandatory.
• Proficient in air brake systems and electrical components.
• Diesel truck experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately diagnose mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with fabricating and assembling parts for various trailer components.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of suspension systems and their maintenance is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics are a plus.
