Job Duties

1. Drives tractor-trailer vehicle to designated locations and operates mechanized loading/unloading equipment.
2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma/GED

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months FedEx Express experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to drive manual transmission preferred.
• Ability to operate mechanized loading/GSE.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Customer contact & package handling experience preferred.
• Good human relations & verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is involved.

Job Conditions

FMCSA covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, including testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.

Must obtain & maintain valid CDL & HME within 90 days. Good driving record required. Neat appearance necessary due to customer contact.

Additional Details

This is a Full Time Vacation Relief position. Must be able to work various shifts.

Pay

$23.09 per hour
