Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our on-site logistics team in Texas. You will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer, and may unload with a forklift, while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hazmat certification is preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred (FMCSA/DOT).
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck (>26,000 lb GVW).
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at customer sites.
• Follows DOT regulations with a strong safety emphasis.
• Ensures manifests and paperwork are accurate.

A CDL A Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.

• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.

• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.

• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.

• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification

• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred

• Forklift certification

• Spanish language proficiency

• Ability to drive and strap proficiently on flatbed trailers and dry van experience.

• Ability to load own trailers
