Job summary

White Cap Management LLC is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our distribution team in the United States. The role involves delivering products to customer jobsites with a tractor-trailer or straight truck, ensuring safety and DOT compliance, and assisting with loading/unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• Has a Class A CDL license with at least one year of experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance.
• May operate truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck (>26,000 lb GVW).
• May unload shipments with a forklift (Moffett or Piggyback).
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety standards.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.

A CDL A Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency
• Ability to drive and strap proficiently on flatbed trailers and dry van experience.
• Ability to load own trailers
