Job summary

The role requires 2+ years of tractor experience; a Technical Diploma in Diesel Technology can substitute for part of the experience. Strong diagnostic and manual skills are essential for daily maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of tractor experience required; a Technical Diploma may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required; ability to read and write; must provide own hand tools.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, service, and repair tractors and related mechanical components.
• Diagnose and repair transmissions, engines, electrical, suspension, driveline, HVAC, brakes and air systems.
• Perform DOT inspections as outlined in USX guidelines.
• Perform open seat inspections to prepare tractor for next driver.
• Perform 90 day lease operator inspections.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion.
