Job summary

Marten Transport in Kansas is seeking night shift technicians with technical school training or one year of hands-on experience to join our maintenance team. You will service, inspect, and troubleshoot reefer units, handling electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical issues.

Hours are 3:30pm to 12am. Wages range from $25 to $38 per hour, with a full benefits package after probation and a potential yearly bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Technical school education or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must have basic electrical, refrigeration and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Able to service and maintain reefer units with standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, inspecting, electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting of reefer units.
• Maintain and repair units to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Utilize air, power and hand tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance of reefer units. Must have adequate air, power, and hand tools to perform the tasks of the job. (annual tool and boot allowance)
