Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services seeks a hands-on operator to run tractors and related equipment for outdoor maintenance and infrastructure tasks. The role requires operating gasoline or diesel-powered tractors and equipment, plus performing duties to meet contract requirements.

Safety and reliability are essential as you will handle attachments, perform minor repairs, and work in varied outdoor conditions. A valid Class C driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of tractor operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, tow-trailers, pull out objects embedded in ground, or pull cable of winch to raise, lower, or load heavy material or equipment.
• Operate tractor to mow vegetation along roads, ditches, culverts and other uneven terrain.
• Fastens attachments such as graders, plows, rollers, mowers (over 2000 lbs.), backhoes, seeders, and disc harrows to tractor, adjusts equipment for proper operation, lubricates and makes minor repairs to tractor and attachments such as tightening bolts, and replacing washers, cotter pins, and screws.
