Job summary

The Greenery Inc. is seeking a reliable tractor operator to mow and maintain large fields on a consistent, weekday schedule. You will perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance, log daily activities, and report mechanical issues as needed.

Reports to Crew Leader or Production Manager with emphasis on safety and teamwork. Ideal candidates have hands-on tractor experience, strong work ethic, and good communication skills. CDL not required; valid driver's license is sufficient.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
• Proven experience operating tractors and mowing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of tractor controls, operation, and routine maintenance.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good time management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety for self, co-workers, and the public.
• Mechanical aptitude or small engine repair experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines related to groundskeeping (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor to mow and maintain large fields and grounds.
• Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance (e.g., oil changes, blade sharpening, greasing).
• Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is used properly.
• Keep daily logs of work completed and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with the team to prioritize work areas.
