CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Tractor/Equipment Operator for Chesapeake, VA. You will operate a gasoline or diesel-powered tractor, mowers, and various attachments to maintain grounds and fulfill contract requirements.

Typical duties include moving materials, towing, pulling loads, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. The role requires at least a high school diploma, 2 years of tractor operation experience, and a valid Class C driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Move materials and draw implements, tow trailers, and load heavy material or equipment.
• Operate tractor to mow vegetation along roads and uneven terrain.
• Attach and adjust implements (graders, plows, rollers, mowers, backhoes, seeders, disc harrows) to the tractor and perform minor repairs.
• Work in outdoor conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for an 8-hour shift.

Description

Job Summary

Operates gasoline or diesel-powered tractor, compost turner, stake bed trucks, and bobcat. Performs all other duties assigned to satisfy the operational requirements of the contract.

Primary Job Functions

• Moves materials, draw implements, tow-trailers, pull out objects embedded in ground, or pull cable of winch to raise, lower, or load heavy material or equipment.
• Operatestractor to mow vegetation along roads, ditches,culvertsand other uneven terrain.
• Fastens attachments such as graders, plows, rollers, mowers (over 2000 lbs.), backhoes, seeders, and disc harrows to tractor, adjusts equipment for proper operation, lubricates and makes minor repairs to tractor and attachments such as tightening bolts, and replacing washers, cotter pins, and screws.

Education, Experience and Certification

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required: Minimum of 2 years of tractor operation experience.

Required: Valid Class C State Driver's License.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, and inclement weather conditions and other conditionsdeterminedby the nature of the job.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; stand for an 8 hour shift
• Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft surfaces, cement structures and surfaces at variable heights.

Compensation

The rate for this position is $24.46.

Benefits

• In addition to the base hourly wage, this position includes a $7.00 per hour fringe benefit rate, provided in accordance with applicable contract requirements.
• This position may also be eligible for a wide range of benefits based on applicable bargaining unit agreements.
