Job summary

KLLM Transport Services in Lancaster, TX is seeking a dependable Tractor Mechanic to maintain, inspect, and repair company trucks in a hands-on shop environment.

Responsibilities include completing paperwork, performing basic diagnostics, and ensuring safe operation of all repair center equipment while keeping work areas clean; candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience, plus own tools and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with Freightliner, Peterbilt, Carrier or Utility assets.
• AC certification preferred.
• Must have your own tools essential to perform the job.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications, Experience & Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1-year previous work-related experience preferred
• Experience with Freightliner, Peterbilt, Carrier or Utility assets

• Take direction as needed
• Must have your own tools essential to perform the job.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations
