Job summary

Parish Tractor in Columbia, MS is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. You will assemble tractors, RTVs, mowers and implements and perform pre-delivery inspections, functional testing, and customer-specific modifications.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of mechanical assembly experience, own basic tools, and a can-do attitude. Training programs, safe work environment, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or equipment repair.
• Own toolset sufficient to perform core duties (special tools provided).
• Working knowledge of small engines, hydraulics, and basic mechanical systems.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in Kubota Service EDUCATE training programs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment including tractors, RTVs, mowers, and implements according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and functional testing to ensure proper operation.
• Install accessories, attachments, and customer-specific modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on service and assembly orders.
• Operate equipment safely for loading, unloading, and movement within the yard.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop and assembly areas.
• Assist with other shop duties as assigned.
