Job summary

Parish Tractor in Columbia, MS is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. You will assemble tractors, RTVs, mowers, and implements, perform pre-delivery inspections, and test functionality to ensure proper operation.

You will install accessories and customer-specific modifications, keep accurate records, and safely handle equipment in a fast-paced shop environment. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or equipment repair.
Personal toolset sufficient to perform core job duties (special tools provided).
Working knowledge of small engines, hydraulics, and basic mechanical systems.
Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble equipment including tractors, RTVs, mowers, and implements according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and functional testing to ensure proper operation.
Install accessories, attachments, and customer-specific modifications.
Maintain accurate records of work performed on service and assembly orders.
Operate equipment safely for loading, unloading, and movement within the yard.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop and assembly areas.
Assist with other shop duties as assigned.
