Job summary

You will contribute to the development and mechanical integration of Traction systems, collaborating with procurement, industrialization, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery commitments.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3–5 years in transportation-related mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in transportation-related mechanical engineering.
• 3D/2D CAD knowledge (AutoCAD or Catia V5).
• Familiarity with MS Office tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including third-party collaboration.
• Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Time management and multitasking.
• Structured, organized, hands-on approach.
• Ability to analyze and implement change requests.
• Cross-functional collaboration with project core teams.
• Experience with global teams and traction design sites.
• English proficiency for reading, writing, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Performing 3D modeling, technical documents, design annotations, and 2D deliverables.
• Modeling equipment aligned to allocated volumes and interfaces for Traction products.
• Conducting detailed design on internal subsystems.
• Requirement management and compliance with allocations, weight, interfaces, and standards.
• Preparing and documenting Design Reviews and Project Design Gates.
• Checking the quality of detailed design drawings and subcontractor designs.
• Realizing and maintaining the Engineering Bill of Material.
• Planning and leading Mechanical Traction activities for assigned zones, ensuring deliverables meet requirements.
