Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a TRACS Technician to join our warehouse team in Ellenwood, GA. This role covers mounting/dismounting tires, shipping/receiving, wheel reconditioning, and inventory organization within a commercial tire manufacturing/distribution center.

You will work with safety rules, wear PPE, and help manage stock while maintaining accurate records. The position requires flexibility for nights and weekend shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Forklift certification obtained after employment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount various sized commercial tires using provided tools.
• Load and unload tire shipments and assist with paperwork.
• Assist with warehouse inventory flow and monthly audits.
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently and safely.
• Enter casing information into BTMs and tag tires/wheels accurately.
• Support reconditioning of wheels and outbound shipments.
• May assist route driver with pickups/deliveries.

We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our TRACS Technician role.

The TRACS Technician is responsible for the safety, efficiency, and completion of any day-to-day warehouse tasks. This includes mount/dismount area, shipping/receiving, paint/wheel reconditioning, as well as organization of stock and customer retread area tires.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Mount and dismount various sized commercial tires, utilizing the mount/dismount machine, T45A Tire Iron/Spoon Bar, and/or the “Golden Tool.”
• Accurately load and unload all tire shipments and assist with completion of paperwork.
• Assist with the efficiency and flow of warehouse inventory.
• Assist with all monthly inventory audits.
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently.
• Accurately identify and enter casing information into BIB Tread Mobile device (BTM), as well as properly tag client’s tires and wheels.
• Properly and safely sandblast, powder coat paint, and cure customer wheels.
• Assist with the scrap out analysis process for Snider customers.
• Assist with reconditioned wheel shipments that are outbound to Snider locations.
• Assist with counting and reconciling monthly retread inventory.
• May be required to assist route driver with customer pickups and deliveries.
• Responsible for the overall organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse.
• Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.

This position will be based in a commercial tire manufacturing/distribution center at one of our commercial retread and/or TRACS facilities. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, interacts with moving mechanical parts/equipment on a daily basis, and the noise level at the plant is usually moderate to high.

Our Ideal Candidate

Education or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus.

Certificates And Licenses

• Forklift certification, obtained after employment.
• Commercial TIA certification preferred.
