Job summary

Westfield Egg Farm in Lebanon, PA, is seeking a Trackman Associate to ensure product labeling and correct pallet placement for inventory. This role requires precise work, reading labels, and maintaining a clean, organized track area.

You will report to the Operations Manager, work Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with breaks, and participate in safety and training programs. The position is non-exempt/hourly, with emphasis on reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • General safety training completed.
  • Able to read SOPs in English.
  • Must wear steel-toed shoes.
  • Reading labels to sort cases accurately.
  • Stand and lift up to 60 lbs as part of duties.

Responsibilities

  • Remove cases from the track and place them on the correct pallets.
  • Identify and sort cases by reading labels for correct pallet placement.
  • Keep the finished cooler track area clean and organized.
  • Inspect each case to ensure it is sealed and ready for shipping.
  • Monitor labels and codes for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate issues with labeling, coding, or the taping machine to egg room team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose of Position

The Trackman Associate has primary responsibility for making sure the product is properly labeled and placed on correct pallets for inventory.

  • Clearly and effectively conveys information, both verbally and in writing.

  • Keep the finished cooler track area clean and organized, including sweeping and disposing of trash as needed.
  • Inspect each case to confirm it is properly sealed and ready for shipping.
  • Monitor finished product labels and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Essential Duties

Work Schedule
  • Typical hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Two 10-minute paid breaks and a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Requirements
  • Completion of general safety and basic food safety training (provided by WEF).
  • Training in electric pallet jack operation (provided by WEF).
  • Consistently clear the track in a timely manner to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Safely and effectively stack all box types according to handling guidelines.
  • Steel-toed or composite toe shoes required (WEF provides a shoe compensation plan)
  • Complete support of and willing adherence to Westfield Egg Farm’s mission, vision, and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his/her own.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English is a must, but bilingual is a plus.
  • The ability to interpret documents such as standard operating procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively to other employees.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, soaps and/or chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
