Job summary

The Walsh Group, Archer Western division, is seeking a Trackhoe Operator for the WEGA/Cartersville project in Cartersville, GA. The operator will run a Trackhoe to dig, excavate, and move materials at the site.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of operating experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, work in adverse weather, follow safety policies, communicate effectively with coworkers, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. This full-time role belongs to the Water division.

Qualifications

3–5 years of operating experience preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
May work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to follow safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operates a Trackhoe to complete tasks such as digging, excavating, and moving and/or transporting materials such as dirt, rocks, and other aggregate.
Must have knowledge of operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
May oil, grease, service, and perform maintenance checks; complete safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork as needed.
May perform other related duties as required.
