Job summary

BNSF Railway is hiring a Track Maintenance Laborer in Easton, WA. You will join the Engineering Department to inspect, repair, and construct railroad tracks and related assets, supporting our nationwide rail infrastructure need. The role includes on-call, overtime, night shifts, and travel to job sites in the seniority region.

The position is full-time (40 hrs/wk) with a residency requirement, company-paid training, and a focus on safety. Relocation is not offered, and a 60-day probation applies.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Track maintenance repair and installation of railroad assets; repair and rebuild track.
• Maintain trackbed, ballast, ties, and rail; manage debris and hazards.
• Operate power and non-powered hand tools and equipment.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment under diverse weather conditions.
