Job summary

Delaware North, parent of Mardi Gras Casino, seeks a Track Maintenance Worker to ensure safe maintenance of the racing surface and equipment at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, WV. The role offers a full-time schedule with Sundays and Mondays off and $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include inspections for racing-compliance, maintenance of track facilities, and reporting unsafe conditions. Benefits include weekly pay, training, discounts, and flexible schedules.

• Current valid motor vehicle license.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Racing Commission License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with racing commission standards, inspect the track surface, infield, and tote board area, performing maintenance of the track and racing surface operating track equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Assist in beautification projects.
• Inspect boiler and heating tubes to ensure proper heating and moisture conditions.
• Immediately report any unsafe conditions to the Director of Racing.
• Properly maintain the kennel compound’s sprint path and associated grounds.

• Ability to stand, walk for long periods, as well as push and pull, climb, mount, and dismount forklift
