Embark on a fulfilling career in our Engineering Department as part of the Track Maintenance Team. Your role will involve constructing, inspecting, and repairing tracks and maintaining railway corridors.
This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) position that requires on-call duties, overtime, night shifts, alternating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Travel to job sites for extended periods, sometimes days or weeks, in the designated seniority region is required. Training includes company-paid on-the-job and classroom sessions at the BNSF Training Center.
Relocation assistance is not provided, and there is a 60-day probationary period. Duties are representative and not exhaustive.
Union membership with the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees (BMWE) and union dues are required. Transfers are handled per union agreement and require approval.
