Patriot Rail is seeking a skilled track inspector to ensure the safety and reliability of our railroad infrastructure. You will inspect track structures, identify defects, and coordinate repairs with maintenance crews to keep service running smoothly.

The role requires working outdoors, following FRA standards, and maintaining meticulous inspection reports. Valid driver’s license and railroad experience are preferred, with opportunities for career growth and safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FRA Track Safety Standards and railroad maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Track inspection, maintenance, or railroad experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect track structures and identify defects or safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with FRA standards and company policies.
• Coordinate repairs and oversee corrective maintenance activities.
• Respond to severe weather events and service disruptions.
• Prepare inspection and compliance reports.
• Work closely with maintenance crews to keep the railroad operating at its best.
