Job summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of coaching experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset. You will lead instruction, ensure compliance, plan practices, and coordinate with the Athletic Director to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of coaching experience as an Assistant Coach or Head Coach.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of interscholastic athletic program regulations.
• Ability to develop offseason skills and conditioning programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all phases of track and field.
• Work with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills.
• Maintain compliance with Conference and State Athletic Association rules and guidelines.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director to evaluate program needs.
• Communicate with the team, staff, parents, community, administration, and the media.
• Organize records and handle inventory of equipment and uniforms.
• Assist with practice planning and skill development.
• Foster professional relationships with opponents.
