Cheltenham Township School District Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, PA is seeking an Assistant Coach for Track (Boys) in the Winter season for the 2026-27 school year. This is an extra duty/extra pay position with posting #1886.

Qualifications

Must have extensive knowledge of the sport and the ability to effectively teach and communicate fundamental skills.
Must have at least 2-4 years of coaching experience working with children and/or adolescents; coaching at the high school level preferred.
Strong understanding of the sport's theory and practice; experience as a player or coach at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
Must demonstrate the personal qualities necessary to foster sportsmanship and support student-athlete success in a positive environment.
Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to build relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and school administration.
Applicants must be prepared to submit required background checks that are no more than one year old.
