Lyndon Institute is seeking to hire Head Coach for our Track and Field team for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with regard to practice, participation in all competitions and other events as assigned by the Director of Athletics
• Be available weekdays from 3:30 pm on (depending on practice and game times), and on weekends as needed
• Responsible for maintaining individual and team stats per game/seasons
• Collaborate with the Director of Athletics to promote Lyndon Institute through summer camps, community events and other outreach opportunities
• Represent Lyndon Institute in a positive and professional manner at athletic events and within the greater community
• Foster an inclusive, and team oriented environment that encourages student-athletes to reach their full potential

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals, rules, and regulations essential to building a successful(sport)program
• Knowledge of appropriate fitness, conditioning, and training principles for the sport.
• Ability to work effectively with the coaching staff, administration, students, parents, and community members
