This role provides direct clinical patient care. The responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role also involves supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role supports the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintains the competency of clinical staff, and manages resources related to patient care across various areas including Critical Care (CCU/ICU), ER, NICU, CVICU, PICU, MICU, Radiology, Dialysis, PACU, CVOR, Labor and Delivery, OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, and GI/Endo. This position may require overnight travel or temporary relocation to support facilities within a market as needed. The assignment may involve working at various hospitals or markets as required.
