TRA San Antonio Respiratory Therapist Local SO SI

Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Education
Required: Graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program.

Experience
Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.

Certifications
Required: RCP or equivalent State licensure; CRT. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NRP (if neonatal).

Preferred: RRT

Physical Demands
Performs all aspects of respiratory care, including diagnostic tests of the cardio-pulmonary system; performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment, including I-STAT blood gas analyzers.
