Job summary

Google is seeking a senior leader to drive the silicon validation program for its Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) in mobile SoC products. You will lead a team that defines and executes validation plans, partnering across hardware and software to deliver high-performance, power-efficient silicon.

The role requires strong decision-making, stakeholder influence, and a track record of delivering complex hardware validation programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in SoC validation.
• 5 years of experience in people management, developing employees.
• Experience with ML accelerator and Mobile SoC architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team responsible for the silicon validation of Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), Google's custom machine learning accelerator, in mobile SoC products.
• Drive the development of test plans and advanced verification frameworks for pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon validation.
• Oversee power and performance measurement, ensuring correlation with pre-silicon to meet product goals.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Design, Software, and Design Verification (DV) teams to resolve technical issues and support silicon debug through the product life-cycle.
• Ensure the team meets project schedules and provides excellent support for internal customers and field failure analysis.
