Job summary

Mars Petcare is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist in Aurora, Nebraska to lead loss-elimination within the MSE TPM framework. You will work with line operators and shift managers to support AM, FI, and FMOS, while standardizing centerlines and driving root-cause analysis.

You will train and coach teams on AM DMS, 5S, and centerline management, developing action plans and CI roadmaps to improve equipment reliability and process performance on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with TPM/Lean experience, or 4+ years in relevant maintenance.
• Experience with AM DMS, 5S, CIL, and centerline management systems.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily FMOS tier meetings and maintain data integrity.
• Serve as SME for AM DMS including Centerline, CIL, 5S, and Abnormality Handling.
• Lead structured root-cause problem-solving (5-Why, Fishbone, Kaizen) to eliminate losses.
• Develop process control strategies, centerline standards, and out-of-control rules.
• Perform routine AM DMS Health Checks, identify gaps, and execute corrective actions.
• Train, coach, and develop operators and shift teams to build ownership.
• Partner with Shift Managers to establish training strategies and CI roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
