Overview

Are you a detail-oriented and enthusiastic claims professional? Join our team at SGD as a TPA Property Claims Examiner, working remotely. You will play a crucial role in evaluating insurance claims and facilitating the resolution process for clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, experience with handling residential and commercial property claims, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. If you find satisfaction in investigating all avenues to reach the best possible resolution of the claims process, and for clients, this position is for you! This role requires working standard business hours in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and manage multi-line claims with concentration of residential and commercial property claims.
  • Interpret policy coverage and determine if and how coverage applies to submitted claims.
  • Set reserves and authorize payment within the scope of authority.
  • Coordinate and manage investigations and evaluate claims and lawsuits.
  • Work with attorneys, claimants, and insureds regarding the handling of claims.
  • Utilize negotiating skills to resolve claims. Analyze claim activity and provide data for management reports.
  • Keep current on state/territory regulations as well as industry activity and trends.
Qualifications

Compensation

$75,000 - $95,000 per year
