Job summary

Spin Master is seeking an experienced Industrial/Product Designer to develop a range of original children's products from concept to production onsite in Wilton, CT. You will collaborate with Brand, Content, Licensing, Packaging, Engineering, and QA teams to bring concepts to market.

The role emphasizes CAD modeling in SolidWorks, rendering in KeyShot, and creating accurate specifications, while prototyping with workshop tools and 3D printers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• Professional product design experience within the consumer products or toy industry.
• Strong 3D CAD and rapid sketching ability.
• Experience with materials and manufacturing processes, especially wood and plastics.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing including cost drivers and tooling limits.
• Portfolio showcasing aesthetic form and structural product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative children’s products from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Brand, Content, Licensing, Packaging, Engineering, and QA teams.
• Create 2D and 3D specifications and drawings considering cost, ergonomics, safety, and manufacturing constraints.
• Build physical prototypes using workshop tools and 3D printers.
• Support packaging and artwork integration with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate across design lifecycle with partners.
