Job description

Toxicology Research Associate - Preclinical Safety assessment

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support our client in Boston, MA. The role involves supporting the In Vitro Toxicology group, where a team of toxicologists and safety pharmacologists design human and preclinical animal in vitro models to assist in drug discovery and development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the culture and maintenance of human cells, such as human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes, and proficiency in molecular and cellular techniques. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Culture of complex human cellular models for drug screening and mechanism studies
• Develop and implement in vitro assays to support drug candidate selection and de-risking
• Conduct and report toxicological profiling experiments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop bespoke organotypic assays

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• BS with 1-2 years or MS with 0-1 years relevant experience in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields
• Strong laboratory technique skills, especially in cell culture and sterile techniques
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and accurate record-keeping

Preferred:

• Experience with high-throughput formats and automated liquid handling
