Job summary

Minivasive Pain is seeking a Toxicology Laboratory Technician in Stafford, TX. You will assist in specimen processing, perform tests, analyze data, and report results, supporting a positive patient experience.

The role requires a BS in a relevant science, 1 year of clinical lab experience, and familiarity with LC/MS/MS and LIMS/LIS systems. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential as you contribute to quality control and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in biology, chemistry, or laboratory science.
1 year of clinical laboratory experience in moderate/high complexity testing.
Experience with analyzing, reviewing, and processing data chromatography.

Responsibilities

Accession and extract biological samples for testing.
Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and record-keeping of patient results.
Prepare stock solutions, internal standards, solvents, QC, and reagents.
Perform routine maintenance on immunoassay instruments, LC/MS/MS and other lab equipment.
Evaluate data statistically for precision and deviations.
Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
Enter demographics, order tests, and report data using LIMS/LIS.
Adhere to QC policies and document calibrations and instrument actions.
Identify problems affecting test performance and report to supervisor.
Document corrective actions for system deviations.
