Job summary

Valley Medical and Wellness in Burnsville, MN seeks a Lab Technologist II to oversee toxicology and molecular workflow, ensuring timely and accurate testing. You will perform instrument maintenance on AU480, Shimadzu LCMS, prepare reagents, and review results with precision.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field, with ASCP accreditation preferred and LCMS proficiency. The role requires strong detail orientation, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or medical technology field.
• Proficient with LC/MS operations and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CLIA & CAP regulatory practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrument maintenance on AU480, Shimadzu LCMS and temp/humidity monitoring.
• Process samples through toxicology and molecular workflow including loading and queueing of instruments.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative LCMS data analysis and prepare standards/controls.
• Process patient results through LIS with attention to detail.
• Maintain inventory and document corrective actions; support QA procedures.
• Troubleshoot LC/MS/MS instrumentation and perform root cause analysis.
• Adhere to standard work and safety practices; maintain clean lab space.
• Shift as needed based on testing volumes; participate in team collaboration as required.
