Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its team. You will support attorneys across the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness, while maintaining court deadlines and filing documents via ECF.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, exposure to toxic tort or complex matters, and proficiency with ECF, PACER, Westlaw.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm, including exposure to toxic tort, product liability, or complex litigation matters.
• Experience with e-filing (ECF), PACER, Westlaw, and managing discovery and trial preparation.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred (relevant experience may be substituted)

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness.
• Maintain and monitor court deadlines, prepare and file documents through ECF, and conduct legal research using PACER and Westlaw.
• Draft pleadings, notices, and motions; organize and manage deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries; track document productions and discovery.
• Assist with deposition coordination, communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts, and contribute to case strategy meetings.
