Distinct | North America is seeking a talented attorney to join its California toxic tort litigation team. The role offers remote work and involves defending clients in complex toxic tort and product liability matters, including asbestos, talc and other exposure-related claims.

You will manage matters from initial investigation through trial preparation, draft pleadings and motions, take and defend depositions, and analyze medical and scientific evidence.

Formación

• Toxic tort, product liability or general liability experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with discovery, depositions and motion practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational capabilities.
• Ability to manage matters independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Defending clients in toxic tort and product liability litigation.
• Handling asbestos and exposure-related claims.
• Managing matters from investigation through trial preparation.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and memoranda.
• Taking and defending depositions, including experts.

An established national litigation practice is seeking talented attorneys to join its California toxic tort litigation team.

The practice handles complex claims involving asbestos, talc, product liability and other exposure-related litigation, offering the opportunity to work on technically demanding matters while benefiting from remote flexibility.

What You'll Be Doing

• Defending clients in complex toxic tort and product liability litigation.
• Handling asbestos, talc and other exposure-related claims.
• Managing litigation from initial investigation through trial preparation.
• Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery responses and legal memoranda.
• Taking and defending depositions, including matters involving expert witnesses.
• Analysing medical, scientific and technical evidence.
• Developing litigation strategies and advising clients on case exposure.
• Attending hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborating with experienced trial attorneys.
• Maintaining accurate billable records and managing client reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For
