Job summary

Tim-Lewis Communities seeks an experienced Townhome Construction Manager to lead a Petaluma project from inception to completion. The role oversees site activities, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures production aligns with schedule and quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in residential townhome/condo projects, OSHA-30, and proficiency with BuildPro/Procore. A CA driver license and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years direct construction management experience on residential projects (townhomes/condos)
• OSHA-30 Certification required; PMP or CCM preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, reading blueprints, schedules, and local building codes
• Experience with Hyphen Solution/BuildPro; BuildPro, Procore, MS Project proficiency
• Excellent management, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Valid CA Driver License with reliable vehicle and insurance

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of assigned townhome project from inception to completion.
• Direct subcontractors, manage schedules, and verify production progress on site.
• Review invoices for accuracy and ensure timely approvals.
• Assist with permits, plots, and plans; coordinate with inspectors and resolve noted items.
• Interpret specifications and coordinate construction phases; adjust schedules to minimize delays.
• Communicate progress and issues to internal departments and external parties; lead issue resolution.
• Schedule and document regular safety training; maintain CAL-OSHA safety standards on site.
• Maintain safe, clean worksite; foster safety, quality, and collaboration on-site.
