Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years towing industry experience.
• Towing certifications preferred; OSHA 10 or 30, forklift a plus.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local towing regulations; ability to learn DOT and NVDOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support 20–80 towing department staff and lot attendants, including scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, and discipline.
• Manage tow truck fleet, equipment readiness, and inventory controls.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and resolve complaints or operational issues.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding tow truck operators and lot attendants.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, towing laws, and company policies.
• Monitor and assist with payroll, timecards, and administrative tasks.
• Respond to and investigate accidents, claims, and property damage incidents.
• Fill in for office staff or site managers as needed.

This role involves managing schedules, supervising staff, maintaining equipment, and supporting customer service. The Tow Supervisor plays a critical role in enforcing company standards, safety regulations, and operational excellence.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Must occasionally maneuver in awkward positions.
