Job summary

Industrial Communications West, based in Grand Island, Nebraska, is hiring for wireless telecom construction roles. You will install, inspect, and maintain RF and microwave systems on towers and rooftops, mount antennas, run coax, and troubleshoot.

Candidates should be prepared to travel up to 75% of the time and pass background checks. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of telecom construction experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years wireless telecom construction experience preferred.
• Must reside within daily commuting distance from crew base.
• Authorized Climber & Competent Climber/Rescue certification required.
• Able to lift body weight plus equipment up towers up to 500 ft for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and elevated structures.
• Mount antennas and microwave dishes, run coax, test lines, and sweep fiber.
• Install tower equipment (masts, clamps, cabling) and load trunk lines.
• Complete antenna installation of RF and microwave dishes from 1 ft to 10 ft.
• Troubleshoot RF/microwave systems and assemble monopoles, self-supports, and guyed towers.
• Operate power/tools, read instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Travel as required and pass pre-employment background checks.
