Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with Anritsu SiteMaster, PPC, towermapping, and antenna equipment.
• Comtrain, OSHA10, RF awareness training, First Aid/CPR trained.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to lead tower crews.
• Willing to climb towers 100 feet or more with load.

Responsibilities

• Climbs and works on communication towers to install, replace, and repair equipment.
• Ensures safety compliance and proper use of tools and rigging gear.
• Prepares daily Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and maintains logs.
• Leads and mentors tower technicians on site.
• Troubleshoots tower lighting systems and RF test equipment.
• Works at heights and in varied weather conditions.

OVERVIEW:

Leads and assists in the construction, installation, and maintenance of communications towers and support structures and related telecommunications equipment. Leads by example to facilitate timely job completion. Tower Technicians work irregular hours, travel frequently, and work at great heights in extreme weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
