Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Tower Technician II in Denver, CO to join a three-person Wireless Services crew. The candidate will perform tower installation, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing within documented qualifications and project scope under the foreman’s direction.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in reporting, and collaboration to develop the Tower Technician I. Experience in telecommunications infrastructure and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on tower installation or maintenance experience.
• Ability to read installation drawings and follow antenna, radio, cable, grounding and weatherproofing requirements.
• Current training and qualifications for climbing, rescue, rigging, radiofrequency safety, and first aid responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, instructions, equipment and installation requirements with foreman.
• Install, replace, and remove communications hardware within scope and qualifications.
• Perform climbing and rigging with approved methods and safety systems.
• Complete cable routing, labeling, terminations, and equipment installation per customer requirements.
