Job description

Utilities One is seeking a qualified Tower Technician II in the Oregon market.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, repair, and service communication equipment such as antennas and towers, including fiber optic cables and other components.
2. Perform equipment swaps and site upgrades.
3. Conduct repairs to telecom towers at heights.
4. Ensure safety standards are met on-site.
5. Test equipment to verify proper functioning.
6. Review work scope and construction drawings with the Crew Leader.
7. Maintain records of work orders and completion dates.

Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of experience as a Tower Technician.
2. Experience with antenna, fiber optic cabling, coax, radio, and microwave installations.
3. Skills in construction, rigging, safety, and industry knowledge.
4. Climbing/rescue and basic first aid training are preferred.
5. Knowledge of electrical systems, telecommunications, and safety regulations.
