Job summary

Anchor TEC, LLC in Boise, ID is seeking a full-time on-site Tower Technician to perform tower construction, installation, and modification tasks. Responsibilities include climbing towers, installing and routing cables, mounting antennas and equipment, and assisting with structural upgrades.

You will use hand and power tools, perform routine maintenance on tower and ground equipment, troubleshoot wireless network components, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools for construction, installation, and repair tasks.
• Skills in troubleshooting and maintenance & repair of tower structures and related equipment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with crew members, supervisors, and clients.
• Basic understanding of wireless networking concepts and equipment installation.
• Comfort working at heights, including climbing towers and using fall protection systems.
• Commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Prior experience in tower work, construction, or telecommunications is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tower construction, installation, and modification tasks, including climbing towers, mounting antennas and equipment, and routing cables.
• Use hand tools and power tools for routine maintenance and repairs on tower and ground equipment.
• Document work performed and communicate with crew leaders and project managers.
• Travel to job sites within the region as required and follow safety protocols.
