Job summary

SBA Communications Corporation is seeking a Tower Technician in Richardson, TX to support expedited commercial deployments. You will perform tower construction, install antennas and grounding, and read plans and drawings while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 1+ year of tower climbing, ability to climb up to 500 feet, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel 90% of the time. Training through Tower U and OSHA practices are provided.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of tower climbing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, details and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Anritsu certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tower construction activities and install antennas and hardware.
• Read plans, site plans and tower drawings; test grounding systems.
• Plan and mobilize resources to meet schedules; communicate progress.
• Ensure safety practices and complete training requirements.
