Job summary

SBA Communications is seeking a Tower Technician to perform critical construction and installation tasks for wireless infrastructure. You will read site plans, assemble towers, install antennas, and ensure grounding and RF integrity. Role requires physical ability to climb and travel for project sites.

Ideal candidates have tower climbing experience, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of RF testing. The position offers a hybrid work pattern with a focus on safety and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year tower climbing experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tower construction activities including assembling/erecting towers and mounting antennas.
• Read site plans and tower drawings to guide work.
• Install and test grounding systems and RF connections.
• Plan, prioritize, and mobilize materials to meet schedules.
• Adhere to SBA safety practices and complete required training.
