Job summary

Trilogy Communications LLC is seeking a Tower Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Columbus, OH. You will install, maintain, and repair wireless network equipment on towers and related facilities, climbing towers, running cabling, and performing inspections to ensure safety and performance.

You will troubleshoot network and hardware issues, complete service documentation, and work with field teams and the back office to ensure reliable connectivity for customers while following safety

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely and effectively with hand tools and related field equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing network, hardware, and performance issues.
• Experience with maintenance & repair of telecommunications or similar infrastructure.
• Wireless networking knowledge, including basic configuration and signal optimization.
• Clear, professional communication skills for coordinating with teammates and clients.
• Comfort with working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Understanding of safety regulations, fall protection, and tower climbing standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in telecom or networking are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites in the Columbus, OH area and potentially beyond.
• Prior experience as a tower technician, field technician, or in a related role is preferred but not required.

Role Description The Tower Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH. Day-to-day responsibilities include climbing towers, using hand tools to perform hardware installation and adjustments, running and securing cabling, and conducting routine inspections to ensure equipment safety and performance. The Tower Technician will troubleshoot network and hardware issues, complete detailed service and maintenance documentation, and collaborate closely with field teams and the back office to support reliable connectivity for customers. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and company procedures during all field operations.
