Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is currently accepting applications for a Tower Crane Operator on our commercial construction sites in Florida. The role entails operating tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials and tools, while following all signals and safety protocols.

Candidates must have NCCCO certification, about 5 years of tower crane experience, and fluency in English, with the ability to read load charts and complete daily/weekly inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience with commercial construction Tower Crane operations.
• Clean NCCCO certification and valid credentials.
• Experience with interpreting signals and following directions.
• Ability to read load charts and operate from instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials on a commercial construction project.
• Interpret and follow all signals.
• Complete daily and weekly inspection and maintenance reports.
• Operate Tower Crane for hoisting operations as required.
• Know instrument and control panels.
• Work in all weather conditions.

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Tower Crane Operator. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.

• Operate tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions on a commercial construction project
• Interpret and follow all signals
• Position requires completing daily and weekly inspection and maintenance reports
• Operate Tower Crane to perform hoisting operations as required by job
• Must know instrument and control panels
• Position requires working in all types of weather
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug‑free environment

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years Commercial Construction Tower Crane Operator experience preferred
• Must have current and valid NCCCO certification
• Familiar with tools
• Familiar with tools and processes associated with construction site
• Knowledge of regulations and safety requirements and policies applicable to crane operators
• Ability to follow instructions
• Must fluently speak and write English
• Ability to read load charts
