SBA Communications Corporation in Des Moines, IA seeks an Apprentice, Tower to support construction and antenna work, read site plans, organize tools, and help supervisors ensure safe, efficient deployments.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, 0–2 years labor or tower/cabling experience, ability to climb up to 500 feet, and up to 90% travel; a valid driver’s license is required. Training through Tower U is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• + and <1 year tower construction / climbing or relevant experience.
• + or 0-2 years general labor, construction or relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction duties on a daily basis ensuring quality construction for expedited commercial deployment of services as directed by Superintendent and/or Foreman.
• Support tower construction and antenna and line installation activities as directed.
• Distribute, pick up and organize tools and materials.
• Work with Construction Supervisors and Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials.
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated by Construction Supervisor and Foreman.
• Perform construction activities as directed.
• Maintain a safe job site and safety barriers.
• Must be able to work overtime including weekends and evenings.
• Complete Tower U training classes.
