Hilco Vision, a leading eyewear/eye care company, is hiring Packaging Operators for its Fairfield, Ohio facility. The role involves monitoring pre-moistened towelettes, inspecting quality, and hand-packaging according to strict standards.

The shift runs 2:30pm to 11pm and requires the ability to lift 20–40 lbs and stand for long periods. Candidates should have 1–3 years of production experience, be comfortable with Windows-based systems, read and follow specifications, and be eager to learn new

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related production experience.
• Ability to lift 20–40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Read, write, speak and understand English to comprehend specs and complete quality sheets.
• Learn new processes and procedures and be willing to grow skill sets.
• Able to use a computer with Windows and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine production for pre-moistened towelette wipes and folding boxes for each job.
• Visually inspect product quality for leaks, alignment, artwork, and defects.
• Verify the weight of finished product using scales to ensure correct liquid and count.
• Refer to order specification sheets to ensure proper packing and labeling information.
• Perform other department and job-related duties as assigned.
