Tow Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating a tow truck to provide roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and transportation services for disabled or impounded vehicles. Must have a valid driver's license to be considered for this role. *Must have tow truck experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct reports.

Essential Functions:

•Operate tow trucks (flatbed or wheel-lift) to safely transport vehicles.

•Respond to dispatch calls for roadside assistance in a timely manner.

•Load, secure, and unload vehicles according to safety procedures.

•Maintain communication with dispatch and customers throughout service calls.

•Complete necessary paperwork including service reports and customer receipts.

•Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on tow truck.

•Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are followed.

•Deliver professional, courteous customer service at all times.

Travel Requirements:

•Constant travel is required.

Required education and experience:

•Valid VA driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on truck type).

•Clean driving record and background check.

•Prior experience operating a tow truck preferred but not required (training may be available).

•Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and safety procedures.

•Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.

•Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

•Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred education and experience:

•Certification from Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA) or similar.

•Mechanical background or roadside assistance experience.

•GPS and dispatch system familiarity.

•Must meet I-9 requirements.
