Job summary

A local towing service is seeking a friendly and motivated individual for a flexible rotating schedule position. Responsibilities include responding to vehicle breakdowns, interacting with customers, and towing vehicles to authorized locations. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and good communication skills. Additional training is available to meet regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must have or pass a DOT.
• Ability to ensure compliance with DPU requirements through additional training.

Responsibilities

• Receive communications from the company dispatcher.
• Drive to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
• Interact with the customer to identify the nature of the problem.
• Perform jump-starts, tire changes, and unlock vehicles.
• Suggest a course of action.
• Connect the damaged vehicle to the truck.
• Tow the vehicle to an authorized service station or junkyard.
• Report to base and complete paperwork.

Looking for someone local, friendly, sales-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to learn how to tow. This is a flex rotating schedule position. We service most motor clubs and the local police department. full or part available

Responsibilities

• Receiving communications from the company dispatcher.
• Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
• Interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem.
• Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires, and unlocking vehicles.
• Suggesting a course of action.
• Connecting the damaged vehicle to the truck with a chain, winch, or steering block.
• Towing the vehicle to an authorized service station or junkyard.
• Reporting to base and completing paperwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good communication skills.
• Have or pass a DOT.
